| ETHICS FILINGS |
The City Code of Ordinances, Code of Ethics, Article V, requires that on or before the last Friday of April of each year, *reporting officials shall file with the City Secretary an annual report of financial information covering January 1 through December 31 of the previous year.
The Code of Ethics also requires that Council Members and Planning Commission Members also file with the City Secretary a supplemental report of financial information by the last Friday of July of each year covering the most recent January 1 through June 30.
You may use your computer to enter information on the Report of Financial Information. However, you may NOT submit the form electronically. After entering the information, you must print the form to complete the signature and notary section and file the form with the City Secretary's Office, City Hall - 1st Floor, 1201 Leopard.

*Ethics reports must be physically filed with the City Secretary by 4:45 p.m. on the day required for filing.

HOW TO FILE AN ETHICS COMPLAINT
You also can obtain a copy of the Ethics Complaint Form and any additional information from the City Secretary's Office on the first floor of City Hall, 1201 Leopard Street.

HEARING
POSSIBLE SANCTIONS
If the Ethics Commission determines that a violation occurred, it shall determine its recommendation of appropriate sanctions. The recommendation may include reprimand, temporary suspension, removal or other corrective action. Such recommendation is forwarded to the City Council.
The City Council shall consider the recommendation of the Ethics Commission, but will exercise its own judgment and discretion in determining what action to take.
