HOUSEHOLD TRASH COLLECTION

With Solid Waste Services, residential customers have two carts - one green, one blue. Household trash (food waste, old tennis shoes, or empty motor oil bottles) goes in the green cart and is collected curbside once each week. The blue cart is for recyclable items only and is collected curbside every other week.

Putting recyclable items in the blue “Smart Cart” will help make sure you have plenty of room for your regular trash.

On holidays, your household trash pickup day may be altered. Check the Holiday Schedule for collection dates.

NOTE:  When you set out your carts curbside, allow three feet of working space between the blue and green carts.
